Airport Ambassadors

Our dogs embark on their freedom flight from South Korea and are welcomed in Canada by our Airport Ambassadors Volunteers and their adopters when they arrive. We’re looking for friendly volunteers to come to Vancouver International Airport (YVR), Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and some US airports when our dogs arrive to meet and greet our adopters and guide them throughout the process.

Our airport ambassadors will be at the arrival airport about 30 minutes after flight’s arrival time. They will meet our adopters and wait together for the dogs and flight volunteer. Most flights arrive around noon at YVR and around 10a or 6:30p at YYZ. It can take 1 to 3 hours for flight volunteers to come out with the dogs after clearing customs & inspection.

 

When the families are reunited, our airport ambassador volunteers will also take some pictures to document the moment for life.
